Few guest performers seem to get 'SNL' quite like Justin Timberlake, who has a wonderful habit of showing up on the stage and creating classic sketches and characters with seemingly no effort. In most cases, he would easily overshadow the actual guest host, but when that guest host is show alum (and current late night superstar) Jimmy Fallon, there is less overshadowing and more comedic awesomenes

Even during the down years, Saturday Night Live is always funny when the actors can't control themselves and start to laugh.  You're bound to get some laughs out of this video which highlights some of those moments.

'SNL' will say goodbye to eight-year veteran Bill Hader this weekend, potentially Jason Sudeikis and Fred Armisen as well during the Ben Affleck-hosted season finale, but newly-minted 'Late Night' host Seth Meyers isn't going anywhere yet. The 'Weekend Update' host and head writer will remain with the sketch comedy series through 2014, before taking over Jimmy Fallon's late-night hosting gig. Find

I always wonder what it's like when people who do imitations meet the people they imitate.  I would hope that most celebrities have a great sense of humor about it and can laugh at themselves, like Ellen Degeneres did recently.

I've talked about this several times before about how The Weather Channel sometimes reaches a little too far for ratings.  Examples would be shows like "Deadliest Space Weather,"  "Forecasting The End," "Prospectors," etc. Apparently the writers at SNL noticed this too, and they introduced the first Weather Channel Soap, "Stormy Skies...

Today I was chatting with Cathy and made a joke about "mom jeans."  So in order to explain mom jeans I found some pictures of women wearing them and also stumbled on this funny SNL spoof commercial from a few years back.

Mick Jagger, the legendary frontman of the Rolling Stones, hosted ‘Saturday Night Live‘ this weekend, which was a significant episode for many of the cast members. Saturday marked the show’s 37th season finale, Kristen Wiig’s final night on ‘SNL,’ and the moment when Jagger said (or should we say, sang?) “sh*t” uncensored.

Saturday night, after we had a couple of plates of tacos and a couple of pitchers, we sat down to watch Saturday Night Live.  I've blogged before about how the show has been getting better.  When I saw the Eli Manning was going to be on, I cringed.  Eli Manning?  Boy he's gonna be like a dead fish.  I was pleasantly surprised that he held his own on the show.

That's what NBC news anchor Brian Williams is calling it.  Take a look at the video.   I don't think it's a great song, and she seems a bit lost, but it's also a unique style of music.  It doesn't make me want to rush out and see more, but past SNL performances by The Jonas Brothers and Ashlee Simpson quickly come to mind as being far worse.  What do you think?

Recently I've been watching "Always Sunny In Philadelphia" and one of the stars is Charlie Day.  Well Charlie showed us he can be funny as a different array of characters on SNL.  Here's a pretty funny sketch that you probably can relate to...

This Saturday, I'll actually watch Saturday Night Live.  One reason, is Lady Antebellum will be performing for the first time on SNL.  The other reason is these two skits made me deep belly laugh! And this is a great newer commercial parody...

I saw this first SNL digital short a while back and thought it was hilarious.  I love the digital shorts, and I was surprised to see them do one "live" at the 63rd Emmy's last night!  Some of the launguage is PG-13, but it's worth a good laugh...
