Seth Meyers Returning to 'SNL' and Weekend Update This Fall, Despite His New Talk Show

'SNL' will say goodbye to eight-year veteran Bill Hader this weekend, potentially Jason Sudeikis and Fred Armisen as well during the Ben Affleck-hosted season finale, but newly-minted 'Late Night' host Seth Meyers isn't going anywhere yet. The 'Weekend Update' host and head writer will remain with the sketch comedy series through 2014, before taking over Jimmy Fallon's late-night hosting gig. That's what NBC news anchor Brian Williams is calling it. Take a look at the video. I don't think it's a great song, and she seems a bit lost, but it's also a unique style of music. It doesn't make me want to rush out and see more, but past SNL performances by The Jonas Brothers and Ashlee Simpson quickly come to mind as being far worse. What do you think?

I saw this first SNL digital short a while back and thought it was hilarious. I love the digital shorts, and I was surprised to see them do one “live” at the 63rd Emmy’s last night! Some of the launguage is PG-13, but it’s worth a good laugh.
