I made a milestone this weekend. For the first time ever, I didn't get lost in the mall. I actually knew where I was going, and how to get there. I've never been a good mall shopper. I don't like crowds, I don't like standing in line, and I don't like spending money. The mall is just not my cup of tea.
If you're like me, you're terrible at wrapping gifts. I know the basics on how to do it, but mine never turn out right. So I decided to do a little searching since this evening Cathy and I are wrapping gifts at the Mall from 4-6 for the Salvation Army. Turns out one thing I haven't been doing is the FINGER PRESS!
What a great time of the year to visit the Mall of America, it's decorated for Christmas and the holiday spirit is lurking everywhere! We took a Cathycation to enjoy the sights, the huge array of food selections, meet the Ninja Turtles and round out our holiday shopping list. Overnight this YouTube clip has become a viral sensation, and it’s easy to see why people all over the world are cooing over this hilariously cute kid. From start to finish this little girl (or guy? Who cares?! It’s so cute!) has us doubling up over her very mature shopping skills.
Recently, J.C. Penney announced plans to do away with sales and instead offer discounted prices every day. The retail giant’s new strategy is a risky one because many shoppers are in the habit of only buying clothing when they see red sale tags.
In Steamboat, Colorado last Sunday, three people caused a commotion by riding their horses into local businesses. We’ve heard that cowboys and their horses are inseparable, but this is plain ridiculous.
I know, kitchen items aren't exactly the sexiest of Christmas gifts but they are appreciated over time. Like the year I got an electric razor for Christmas. Sure, it wasn't a new man-cave item or something but I do use it every single day. Great gift! Here are 36 small appliances and other home products that Consumer Reports says are a great idea:
