November 27, 2012 Bentleyville Tour of Lights is for everyone, but cold weather, snow and slippery walk ways make it nearly impossible for our local Seniors to enjoy the wonderment. Thanks to the City of Duluth, they can catch every light of the tour and tasty dinner too! Grandma and Grandpa will love you for it!
September 13, 2012 There's a job opening for seniors 100 years old or older, sort of. The City of Duluth Parks & Recreation Division is looking for those who turn 100 years or older in 2012 for the annual 100 Year Birthday Party Celebration.
June 18, 2012 Pfizer recently did a survey that would shake hopefully shake things up and have people talking about aging. They asked questions about aging to a wide rang of people. Perhaps one of the most surprising results was older Americans were more afraid of living in pain or losing independence than dying. Only 7% listed dying as the biggest fear, compared to 64% for living with pain/suffering. What else did the survey say?
