The Academy of Country Music and Dick Clark Productions just unrolled a new lineup of performers today for the 2012 ACM Fan Jam. The event, which is in its second year, will take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas April 1 and will feature performances from all three ACM New Artist of the Year Nominees — Scotty McCreery, Brantley Gilbert and Hunter Hayes.

The Country Music Association just announced a few additions to the lineup for the 2012 CMA Music Festival. The most recently added talents slated to take the big stage at the Tennessee Titans’ LP Field include Blake Shelton, Scotty McCreery, Dierks Bentley, Alan Jackson and Brantley Gilbert. This year’s biggest night in country music will be taking over Nashville from June 7 through June 10.

A little over a week ago Brad Paisley changed the name of his tour from the 'Camobunga Tour" to the "Virtual Reality Tour", St. Paul was the third stop on this newly renamed tour, and what a show it was!
The show opened with American Idol winner Scotty McCreery and CMA new artist of the year, The Band Perry, but the majority of the 15,000+ in attendance were there to see country music hit maker Brad Paisley.
Scotty McCreery has learned from previous ‘American Idol‘ winners’ mistakes. During a recent interview with the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the 18-year-old said he was emphatic about being aggressive in the days following his win on the Fox television show.
It was only a matter of when, not if, Scotty McCreery‘s debut album would be certified platinum for one million copies sold. Last night, his Nashville record label made it official.
Between a Brad Paisley tour, media obligations and English tests, it would seem Scotty McCreery wouldn’t have much time to keep up with reality television, but the 18-year old says he’ll definitely be sitting down when the 11th season of ‘American Idol‘ begins on Jan. 18.
Instead of chilling out in his native Garner, N.C. for the whole holiday season, Scotty McCreery headed to the Dominican Republic for a bit to personally deliver gift boxes to needy and impoverished children. The selfless singer shared a couple pictures from his trip via Twitter … when he was able to get internet service, that is!
