A new scientific study has come out saying that taking a hot bath is better for you than taking a hot shower.  It says you can actually burn calories in a hot bath, and it helps people with their blood sugar.

We were talking this morning about Rocky, and Orangutan in the UK who has stunned scientists by making vowel noises that mimic human conversations.  That's what they are saying.  Cathy and I aren't so sure.  Check out the video and see what you think.

Finding fun things for the family to do can be a challenge, especially this time of year.  Finding free things to do poses an even greater challenge.  Luckily, the Students of Science at UWS have a great, free family event lined up this week to help you out.

Kids are bombarded by many things nowadays.So much more information available at a touch of the finger. They spend hours playing video games, watching TV, playing sports, texting, and on the computer. Only a couple of minutes each day can help prevent a lifetime of problems.

This is pretty funny.   Earlier today Cathy was saying how we could be replaced by trained monkeys.  I don't know if these monkeys would be able to get along any better than we do!  It's a simple experiment where one monkey is rewarded with grapes, and the other is rewarded with cucumbers.  The cucumber monkey's reaction is priceless!

The most funny part of this blog is the fact that it has something to do with math....it's math hard....and I suck at math!!!  But, you can't deny that the date 3-14 IS the first three digits in the number pi!
