Review

Last review was a campground on the Range, this weekend, Burlington Bay Campground in Two Harbors.  I can't wait to explain why I would give this city owned campground two thumbs up!

I recently officiated a wedding at Fortune Bay Casino. That's about 2 hours from our home in Duluth, so we decided to stay at a campground nearby and chose the HooDoo Point Campground.  We had driven through it the year before and liked the sites right on the lake. After staying there for a weekend, here’s what we thought.

Our friend Nabisco Joe (that's what we call him) dropped off the latest Oreo flavors to try.  The first was Blueberry Pie, followed by Salted Caramel.  They're only around for a limited time, so you better give them a shot soon.  Here's what we thought of the flavors.

The first time I saw a suggestion pop up for 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,' I scrolled passed it.  Same for the second, third, and fourth time.  It didn't look like a show I would like.  Finally, a friend of mine told me about it and how I should check it out.  Man, am I glad I did.  I've had some of the best genuine laughs at this show.

To be honest, I've actually been to the OMC Smokehouse at 1909 West Superior St. Duluth twice.  But I forgot to take pictures my first time so I made sure to do so this time.  They serve smoked meats, craft beer and sides all done very uniquely.  Here's my review.

I purchased a brand new Stihl Chainsaw "Farm Boss" last week and finally got a chance to put it to the test this weekend in the woods.  The farm boss has changed in recent years.  It used to be the MS290 model, but Stihl now sells the farm boss as a redesigned 271 model.

Yesterday for lunch a couple of co workers and myself went to the newest restaurant at the Miller Hill Mall, Lucky's 13 Pub.  It's now in the same spot that Old Country Buffet used to be at, but you wouldn't recognize it by walking in.

Chocolate Strawberry Oreos have hit the shelves, and we decided to continue our review of any new Oreo flavor that comes out.  This time, I grabbed the guy from the next office space over (Josh) to see what he thought.
