Irvin 5K is now closed.  This race takes place the evening before Grandmas Marathon and this year allowed 1,900 registrants, which was an increase of 200 from last year.

It's a nice Friday evening and even though it's been warm and humid the past several years, there are friendly Park Point residents there to cheer you on and spray you with a hose.
