Owner of Twin Ports Cleaning Company Allegedly Stole Items in Homes and Businesses While Cleaning

Members of the Douglas County Sheriff's Department, Superior Police, and other criminal task forces conducted a search of a property owned by Charles D. Sislo, owner of Twin Ports Cleaning, on Wednesday of this week. The search and subsequent arrest occurred following suspicion he was stealing items while cleaning homes and businesses.

The Duluth Police Department has seen a recent increase in day time residential burglaries in the Duluth and Hermantown areas. Most of the homes burglarized had doors that were left unlocked.  They say the items taken most often stolen were jewelry and electronics.  Police say their investigation has resulted in some arrests, thankfully, and they are continuing to monitor the situation.  They also provided some helpful tips to make your home and family safer.
