Add it to your collection of the previous years! I look forward to the CD release party every year and buy lots for holiday stocking stuffers! It's cool knowing that the artists on the CD are from the Northland, many of them children in area schools. Not only do I get some names crossed off my holiday list, the money goes to area flood relief and kids with catastrophic illnesses.

It's coming! The 3rd Annual "We Need More Cowbell" competition!! Thursday, January 26, will be a night filled with food, fun and fightin'. Fightin' for the Golden Cowbell. It will be at Grandma's Sports Garden with doors opening at 5p, and the show starting at 6p. Tickets are only $10 at the door and includes the cowbell entertainment, LIVE music from the Lake City Smokin' Section, food from Grandma's, Bellisio's and Little Angie's Cantina, and a HUGE silent auction. All to benefit the Northern Lights Foundation. You GOTTA be there!!!!

Holiday music by local artists, nothing could be better, except when the proceeds of the CD benefit LOCAL children with catastrophic and life-threatening diseases.

Get into the Holiday spirit and take care of stuffing the stockings of those you love, all while helping the Northern Lights Foundation.

UMD Bulldog, Jack Connolly Assists At Guns N' Hoses

A big thank you to everyone who came out to the Wade last night for the 4th Annual Guns N Hoses Softball Challenge pitting the Duluth Police Department against the Duluth Firefighters. Congratulations to the Police, winning the challenge again this year.

The weather was absolutely perfect...the crowd of hundreds enjoyed free food from Texas Roadhouse and my surprise of the evening was a visit from UMD Bulldog Hockey Star, Jack Connolly, sporting the NCAA Champs trophy.

Northern Lights Foundation Helps Teen in Moose Lake

A Moose Lake Elementary student, Megan Wegge was diagnosed with a form of liver cancer and is currently receiving chemotherapy that will continue through the summer. A fundraiser was held over the week-end in Sturgeon Lake and the Northern Lights Foundation presented the family with a $2000 check.
