The NFL has selected the Minnesota Vikings to host the Pittsburgh Steelers at London's Wembley Stadium on September 29th, 2013. This is part of the NFL's International Series and this will count as one of the home games for the Vikings next season.
During the Minnesota Vikings game Sunday against the Titans, impressive rookie Harrison Smith was ejected early for shoving an official during a heated moment in the game. Smith admitted he got caught up in the moment and he was sorry. He was also willing to accept an further punishment the league handed down. It appears he's already paid his penalty.
It was fun while it lasted, unless you are a Packer fan. The crazy calls, delays, and after the whistle pushing and shoving appear to be over as the NFL has reportedly reached an agreement with their officials.
There was a stir earlier today about an NFL rule that does allow the commissioner to overturn a play if a major injustice occurs during the course of a game. Today, the NFL reviewed the controversial Seattle touchdown and said there was not sufficient evidence to overturn the result of the game.

As Vikings fans await construction to begin on a new stadium, the city of Minneapolis doesn't want to wait to create a tailgating experience for Vikings fans. They hope to create such an experience beginning with the September 23rd game against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Minnesota Twins were just awarded the 2014 All Star Game in their new stadium, so why shouldn't the Minnesota Vikings host a future Super Bowl in their new stadium, which will be built over the next few years.
