I've been paying particularly close attention to this season of NBC's "The Voice," because my cousin's friend Kat Perkins is competing.  Long story short, I've been watching every episode religiously.  The other night I got goosebumps watching a performance from Jake Worthington and Tess Boyer.  It was amazing.

We're cheering on Kat Perkins, who has advanced past the first battle round last week.  In the meantime, she's shared with fans what it's like to be on The Voice.

We're fast approaching the battle rounds for the voice, and our Kat Perkins has made Team Adam.  We get a hint of what she's up against next week in this preview.

'The Voice' has had several artists audition for the show from the Minneapolis music scene, and next week we will be introduced to another.  Kat Perkins auditioned for the voice, but as the show is tight lipped, we won't know if she got a chair to turn next week or not.  But judging by this youtube video, Kat surely has the pipes to make her dream come true!  Good luck Kat!
