President Obama Will Go ‘Running Wild With Bear Grylls’ in Alaska

NBC reality trek Running Wild With Bear Grylls has made headlines in recent months for bringing high-profile figures out into the wilderness, but the survival series may yet have its biggest name ever, and all for a cause. The summer of 2015 has afforded far too many absurd and newsworthy sagas for SNL to sit out, and Season 41 is already exploding off the bench. Not only will Miley Cyrus host the October premiere, but SNL will follow up with Amy Schumer, and a momentous return for alumni Tracy Morgan.

Brian Williams Got A Reasonable Punishment for His Storytelling Controversy from NBC

I have always been a big fan of Brian Williams.  I thought he did a great job on the Nightly News.  I remember him from when he was just a reporter that would sit in with the legendary Tom Brokaw.  It really sucked when we found out that he had gotten caught up in his stories.  It's been tough to see his fall from grace.  NBC has given him a second chance, but not where he once was.

Cody Wickline Survives The Battle Rounds After Beating Matt Snook on The Voice [VIDEO]

I honestly don't know what to think of this battle.  It seemed weird and very mis-matched.  On one side you had the thin-voiced but talented country singer Cody.  On the other, you had big voice and powerhouse Matt Snook.  I blogged before about how Cody did an amazing job on his blind audition.   Matt Snook was only given a short clip on a montage, so we didn't really get to see him.  But I can tell that this song was not in their "wheel house."

4 Reasons You Should Be Watching “The Slap”

I usually don't even try watching new TV shows anymore because inevitably they get cancelled before they get a chance to grow an audience.  Last night, I couldn't find the remote control, so I ended up watching "The Slap" on NBC.  I originally was mildly intereste I'm hooked.  Here's why.

The Voice Winner Craig Wayne Boyd Might Actually Be A Star

Let's be honest.  How many big stars has NBC's the voice produced?  Even out of the winners, I don't think any of them are superstar status.  In country music we've had winners Cassadee Pope and Danielle Bradberry, and both have had mild success.  (Part of that to blame is the male dominated industry, I think.)
