‘Friends’ Reunion Shot Down Once and for All By Series Creator

The Age of Revivals spurred along by the likes of Netflix’s Fuller House or whatever NBC drags out of the dumpster next has many hopeful that Friends will finally get its oft-discussed reunion. Nope! Co-creator Marta Kauffman bluntly states “reunions suck,” at last putting an end to speculation.

We just couldn’t leave well enough alone between The X-Files, Heroes, 24 and others, now Coach has been plucked from its grave for another go. Craig T. Nelson has been confirmed to lead an NBC revival of the classic sitcom, switching over from its original ‘90s run on ABC.

Cody Wickline Survives The Battle Rounds After Beating Matt Snook on The Voice [VIDEO]

I honestly don't know what to think of this battle.  It seemed weird and very mis-matched.  On one side you had the thin-voiced but talented country singer Cody.  On the other, you had big voice and powerhouse Matt Snook.  I blogged before about how Cody did an amazing job on his blind audition.   Matt Snook was only given a short clip on a montage, so we didn't really get to see him.  But I can tell that this song was not in their "wheel house."

'The Voice' is back and Cody Wickline got four chair turns last night with his version of George Jones' classic "He Stopped Loving Her Today."  Of course it was no surprise when he picked Blake Shelton as his coach.

4 Reasons You Should Be Watching “The Slap”

I usually don't even try watching new TV shows anymore because inevitably they get cancelled before they get a chance to grow an audience.  Last night, I couldn't find the remote control, so I ended up watching "The Slap" on NBC.  I originally was mildly intereste I'm hooked.  Here's why.

‘SNL’ 40th Anniversary Special: Eddie Murphy Confirmed to Return?

NBC has remained curiously quiet on ‘SNL’’s three-hour 40th Anniversary special on February 15, and while cameos galore are expected, our first major homecoming may have arrived. Following a 31-year absence, Eddie Murphy will reportedly return to ‘SNL’ to ring in the NBC sketch comedy legend’s 40th anniversary.

The Voice Winner Craig Wayne Boyd Might Actually Be A Star

Let's be honest.  How many big stars has NBC's the voice produced?  Even out of the winners, I don't think any of them are superstar status.  In country music we've had winners Cassadee Pope and Danielle Bradberry, and both have had mild success.  (Part of that to blame is the male dominated industry, I think.)

Think You Know ‘SNL’ Movies? Watch This Video of Facts to Pump You Up

These days 'SNL' movies are a bit few and far between (come on, 'MacGruber 2'!), but at least some of their success lives on with legendary classics like 'Wayne's World or 'The Blues Brothers.' You Should Really Give NBC’s “The Blacklist” A Try

Tonight, Season 2 of the Blacklist premieres on NBC, following The Voice.  I'll be honest, I didn't watch the first season at all when it aired.  Last week I noticed that it was now on Netflix, so I thought I'd give it a shot.  I immediately fell in love, and if it wasn't for my limited time I would have binged watched the first 22 episodes.  (I did manage to watch 13, in 4 days... not bad.)

Kat Perkins Expands To Pop Songs In Hopes To Survive Last Elimination Week, Jake Worthington Shines

Last week I hypothesized that the truly talented rocker Kat Perkins was in the bottom three for two weeks because of her genre of music.  It made sense to me, so I wasn't surprised when Coach Adam had her sing a challenging pop song, and a blockbuster song.

NBC Orders Will Ferrell’s ‘Anchorman’-Esque ‘Mission Control’ Series with Krysten Ritter

We're not happy with all of NBC's renewal and cancellation decisions today, but at least one of its newest offerings for the coming season will soften the blow. NBC's "Anchorman Astronaut" period comedy 'Mission Control' with 'Breaking Bad' star Krysten Ritter has officially been given a series order under the watchful eye of Will Ferrell and Adam McKay themselves. Plus, what else has NBC given the green light to?
