While a Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the Twin Ports, you should also use caution if you are traveling across the region tonight as there is the possibility of tornado activity in other counties.

Waterspout Reported Over Lake Superior Just Off Park Point [PHOTOS]

At about 11 AM today, the National Weather Service reported a water spout 2 miles off park point.  A waterspout is a tornado that appears over water, and is generally not as strong as tornadoes over land.

Flood Watch In Effect For Much Of The Northland Through Thursday Evening

I think David Nail said it best when he said, "Let It Rain".  Our very wet week in the Northland has now lead to Flood Watches for much of the area through 7pm Thursday.  According to The Weather Channel, the National Weather Service in Duluth issued the watch and here are the official details:

Two State Wide Tornado Drills Conducted TODAY

It's hard to prepare for a natural disaster.  You never know when you'll find yourself in the situation of experiencing inclement weather.  TODAY, there will be a State-wide test to help educate the public on what they'll hear and what to do, if bad weather should hit the Northland.  Remember, today is ONLY A TEST!
