			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Struggling mom has a very strange encounter with a customer and is left with a box.  Box contains $12,000!  I think the key to this story is that she notified the police right away and they told her if nobody claimed it within a certain time she could have it.  That time passed and they extended it.  That extended time passed and they said she couldn't have it because it's "drug money".   Because they didn't disclose that right away, it sounds like they're making up the rules on the fly so I can see her reasoning behind the lawsuit.</p>
<p>A couple of questions come to mind.  First would if this happened to you would you notify police or just take it as offered?  Second, if the series of events this woman experienced happened to you, would you sue or just take the police offer?  Here's the whole story:</p>
