March 29, 2012 I have only been in the presence of a live moose in the wild once, between Remer and Floodwood, coming back from Walker. He was H U G E, standing next to the road. I was glad I was in the car and it warranted a stop to watch him. The DNR is offering a limited moose hunt this coming fall, so get your hunting party together! What does moose taste like, is it gamey?

Bald Eagles Are Spring Migrating to MN
March 9, 2012 I love driving along I-35 (as a passenger) and looking for eagles nests in the trees. You can tell because the nests are HUGE! The Department of Natural Resources in Minnesota says, it's time to be watching for the bald eagles, they are already on the return to our area.
