When director Zack Snyder unveiled our first look at Ben Affleck all suited up as Batman (with his trusty Batmobile by his side) in his upcoming turn in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,' the photo in question sent the internet into a whirl of excitement. Unfortunately, the same can't really be said of Henry Cavill's reveal, primarily because it's not even of him as Superman, but rather his journalistic alter-ego, Clark Kent.

The movie 'Man Of Steel' got mostly positive reviews, despite its detractors.  This is the relaunch of the Superman franchise and like many of the new super hero movies, it takes itself very seriously.  I have no problem with that as 'The Dark Knight' is one of my favorite movies in any genre.  However, does this approach fly with Superman?

After months of feverish anticipation and a marketing campaign that left everyone at ScreenCrush practically speechless, 'Man of Steel' has arrived (amidst a flurry of mixed reviews) and taken its place at the top of the box office chart. Although the latest Superman film broke June box office records, it's yet to be seen whether or not the film is truly prepared for the long road ahead.

Like many little boys, growing up my three favorite heroes were Spiderman, Batman and Superman.  One of my favorite movie memories was going to see the first Christopher Reeve Superman movie at the Norshor Theater with my dad and sisters.

We caught a fleeting glimpse of multiple Oscar-nominee Amy Adams as Lois Lane in the 'Man of Steel' trailer (seen above) but today we get our first official look at Lois Lane from the upcoming Superman film. And? There are certainly a big change to the Daily Planet.

Superman is the next super hero to get a relaunch on the big screen and it looks like they're taking a cue from the Christian Bale era Batman with a more serious tone.  This trailer features Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, the man Superman would know as his dad on planet earth.  Yes, I know I sound like a big giant dork.
