Labor Department Wants To Prevent Children From Working On Family Farm
April 26, 2012 My chores were much different than that of my friend Caroline Laveau, but she grew up on a huge dairy farm in Wrenshall, and I only had to dust and vacuum. I enjoyed my time on the farm and think that it taught me a lot! Responsibility and the meaning of the words, "hard work", because it wasn't always fun, or easy and "time to play" didn't come until AFTER chores were completed. Personally, I think this is wrong and don't think that families with farms can make it without the family working together. Do you agree?
