Ugh. That's what we will all be saying come road construction season. This year will be a record year for the amount of orange cones on the road. I don't know about you, but I think we deserve a break commuting after the last couple of years we had here in the Twin Ports.
Good news for travelers from the Northland to the Twin Cities and vice versa, as another project appears to have been completed.
The road construction is slowly making it way across the Northland. If you haven't already been impacted in some way, perhaps this next bout of road closures and detours will do the trick. We're moving from the Duluth area up I-35 between Scanlon and Larson Road this Thursday, June 7
According to the MN Department of Transportation, the next two days might be a good time to try out that new route to work, you've been considering. You have been warned!

April 4th, 2011 is the beginning of this year's I-35 Mega Project. Like last year, we can expect at times 2 lane traffic through the interstate downtown. We shouldn't feel the impact quite as much as we did last year, but there are other projects nearby this summer as well.
