I have a fantastic zucchini bread recipe from an old church cookbook that I overuse this time of year but I was looking for something different. It's a true kick off to summer and so much fun to watch the market's tables slowly fill up with fresh, local fruits, flowers and vegetables as the harvest continues to grow.
Six days of rain resulted in 5+ inches of rain in the Northland, but that won't affect the much anticipated Superior Downtown Farmer's Market.

Wednesday is the last Market Day with the Superior Business Improvement District, but not the last Farmer's Market (that goes till the end of October, every Wednesday 11-2). I've been the lucky enough to broadcast from Center City Park in Superior every other week ALL summer long at the Farmer's Market and get in on all the fresh harvest, home-made breads, soaps, crafts and yes, even meats! It'
