Flannel enthusiasts, listen up! There's an event just for you that takes place in Canal Park on Thursday, September 26th.

Duluth is one step closer to earning another title for itself after advancing to the championship round in Duluth Trading Company's Flannel City Face-off. Most notably, the Zenith City earned the title of best outdoor town in the country earlier this year, and our fair town is now working toward earning the prestigious title of "most flannel city in America."

For a Northland girl, flannel is truely a wardrobe staple.  It's not only fashionable, but will keep you cozy in the chilly Twin Ports autumn weather.  What's not to like?  Those comfy flannel shirts come in an array of colors and go great with jeans and a pair of knee-high boots.  I'm not jumping on the flannel bandwagon either, my dog even had his own flannel jacket long before the quest to be t

Duluth is facing off against Missoula, Montana in this round for "The Most Flannel City."  It's a contest created by Duluth Trading Company, and of course we are jumping on board.  At the time of writing this, Duluth had a lead in the contest, but keep voting!
