It turns out that Eric Church‘s wildly successful Blood Sweat and Beers Tour is quite appropriately named, as the singer has encountered some roadblocks along the way that just might make a grown man want to cry — or at least reach for a cold one. Church, who has seen tons of his tour dates sell out before his eyes, filed a lawsuit Tuesday (March 13) to stop vendors who are illegally manufacturing and selling merchandise bearing his name and likeness.

Eric Church has never been one to hoist up the cost of his concert tickets to pad his pockets. In fact, he says that goes against his entire philosophy as an artist, as his goal has always been to get more people to his shows rather than more money per ticket sale. With this mentality, then, it’s not surprising that the Grammy-nominated singer is so peeved about what’s been happening at shows all along his Blood, Sweat and Beers Tour. Church has some choice words for the big ticket brokers that have been purchasing his tickets and scalping them to fans.

It's been an exciting week for country artists Eric Chruch and his wife Katherine, and Keith and Laura Anderson. Both couples welcomed a new child this week. The Church's baby was born on Monday. They've named him Boone McCoy Church, and he weighed 7lbs 11 oz. Eric church talks about the excitement of being a new father.
You’d be hard-pressed to find a musician who doesn’t appreciate his or her fans — without them, after all, no one would be able to record or tour. But during a recent concert, rising country star Eric Church demonstrated just how much his fans mean to him.
The show ended with one woman walking away with Church’s autograph on her boot — and one security guard being asked to leave before the final bow.
