It could have been a tragic Memorial Day for one family if it wasn't for the quick actions of two Duluth Super One employees. As I read the press release, I couldn't help but think of Super One's participation in the Go Red for Women Event partnering with the American Heart Association to save lives. Blessings to these two individuals who were so quick to respond.

I always say that "life experience" is such a great learning tool. Even though it's tough, I've always let my daughter make her own choices, know that if she made a bad decision, she would learn from it. When it comes to car accidents, I'm glad that the Duluth Fire Department has developed a way to simulate a crash. With this mock crash, life experience is shown without having to actually live through the trauma.

Another thing to remember is to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, yes, even if they are still good, change them. That way you know they’re fresh and ready to keep your family safe.
