Originally, this blog was my reaction and disbelief to a news story I read from WDIO.com.   I had to ask the question, WHY?  Why did this man feel he had the right to destroy something that does not belong to him.   The fact that he has been caught, charged and bail set, doesn't answer my question of why, but at least justice is being served.

It's a favorite local tradition for many, the 26th annual Twin Ports Thanksgiving Day Buffet held at the DECC on Thanksgiving Day, November 26. The community is invited to enjoy a free turkey dinner with trimmings from 11a - 4p and the DTA is offering FREE rides to the event.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3 is Election Day.  The Duluth Transit Authority, (DTA) wants to help ensure a good voter turnout and is helping by offering free rides for some of their routes.  Find out which ones, here.

I've never heard of removing bus stops before, but because the two stops were deemed unsafe for boarding and waiting for the bus, they have made the decision to do so.  The DTA has made alternative suggestions for riders.

It's been a long summer of construction in the Twin Ports.  While some Northland construction continues, there is one project that is near completion and it's time to celebrate.  The newly reconstructed Northwest Skywalk Passage and you're invited to the ribbon cutting.

Construction in the Twin Ports continues, many of our roadways are dotted with colorful signage and  hard-working individuals doing their best to get the project completed.  We may need to wait a bit longer for the Northwest Skywalk Passage however, due to weather and what the DTA  says is shortage of skilled labor.
