According to The Wrap, CBS has partnered with digital video company Interlude (those behind that viral channel-changing lip-sync of “Like a Rolling Stone”) for the “original interactive project” allowing Twilight Zone viewers to “step in and become a part of the story.” BioShock creator Ken Levine will even write and direct the pilot episode.

A ways back, we’d heard that the ever-clever MacGyver had reinvented himself with a new CBS series under Furious 7 helmer James Wan, returning to that faithful well of a young origin story. That dream is today reality for he Eye, as CBS grants an official pilot order to a new generation of MacGyver, with sexy results.

We’re still feeling out a world post-Late Show With David Letterman, but Stephen Colbert is already gearing up and shaving down for his big debut. The former Colbert Report host finally ditches his Colbeard in prep for the September debut, and you may never look at hot dogs the same way again.

Whereas CBS' decision to not move forward with 'HIMYM' spinoff 'How I Met Your Dad' proved pretty surprising, the fate of 'Two and a Half Men' was long overdue. The Ashton Kutcher comedy will indeed return for season 12 this fall, though the network finally confirmed that one of Chuck Lorre's flagship vehicles will come to a merciful end with a series finale thereafter.

Yesterday saw 'The Late Late Show' host Craig Ferguson announcing his imminent exit from the 10-year series in December, a move speculated to result from Stephen Colbert taking over David Letterman's 'Late Show,' where it seemed Ferguson had been overlooked. Now, video of Ferguson announcing his exit has arrived, while the 'Late Late Show' host insists his retirement has nothing to do with Letterm

The once and future Sally of the 'How I Met Your Mother' spinoff, 'How I Met Your Dad,' has at last been found. Where 'Full House' sitcom icon Bob Saget curiously provided the narrating voice of 'HIMYM''s future Ted, Meg Ryan has been selected to provide the voice of future Sally, as portrayed in the storyline's present by indie darling Greta Gerwig.

Well, that was fast! Just one week after David Letterman dropped the 'Late Show' bombshell that he would retire in 2015, his replacement has officially been announced. Following early and decisive rumors, Stephen Colbert will officially leave behind Comedy Central's 'Colbert Report' to ascend the late-night throne as the new host of CBS' 'The Late Show.' You're welcome, nation!

We didn't bother keeping up with CBS' Stephen King drama, 'Under the Dome,' in its initial 2013 run, given how far-fetched the sci-fi story quickly became, but will the people of Chester's Mill have a brighter day in season 2? CBS has officially set a premiere for Dean Norris and co. to return, along with a date for Stephen Spielberg-Halle Berry drama 'Extant.'

Well, this is an odd play for the Trade Federation CBS. 'How I Met Your Mother' will be on everyone's lips this coming spring as the ninth and final season comes to an ultimate close, but the end might be sooner than we think! The eye network has set an official date for Ted Mosby to meet the mother, and unless it's an April fools, the MacLaren's gang will say goodbye in March 2014!
