This is funny. Cathy Kates and Ken Hayes made a bet to challenge people to call this morning and Cathy won, but so did we. We got Cathy to dance to her requested Michael Jackson.

Ok, so many of you enjoyed the antics of my Schnauzer watching the Westminster competition I thought I'd share what happened this past weekend when I was putting clothes away in my closet.

Ken and I made it through another year and he beat me to posting it on Facebook yesterday!  Of course, we wouldn't have eight years together without you joining us day in and day out on the B105 Breakfast Club Show.  YOU are the reason getting up at 3am is totally worth it!

I check facebook several times over a weekend.  This weekend I saw a friend request from an Amy.  I recognized her last name and thought "could it be"?  Sure enough, it was a former student from when I taught Red Cross swimming lessons at the Wrenshall School pool in the late 70's.  I accepted her request for friendship and she sent me two photos that absolutely FLOORED me!

It was a Monday.  Mondays don't usually bother me, but this particular Monday I needed a do over.  Two accidents in one day.  One involved a shopping cart, one involved an oblivious man who ran me off the road!

This weekend my wife and I went to a casino to celebrate her birthday.  While walking around, I swear I spotted my co-host Cathy Kates!  I ran up to say hi but as I got closer I soon realized it was a fake!  It wasn't really Cathy!  Who else has that haircut!?  See the picture!

Cathy had a headache from the time she woke up this morning, so she decided to take an Advil during the morning show.  I've noticed in the past that everytime she tries to take a pill, she uses her searing hot coffee to wash it down.  Why not just go get a glass of water, and not burn your throat?   Well she's stubborn, so this time I caught it on video.

It wasn't that the carpet was well worn, it was that no matter what I did to clean it even professionally, it never truly looked clean.  It was over ten years old, it was time.  My husband Homie was VERY good at deflecting my pleas for new carpeting until I caught him in a weak moment and he agreed to "go look".

Cathy got a little frustrated today with her outfit, as the arms are kinda messed up.  It's a style I guess, but it made her feel like a winged creature, much like a bat.  I think it's more of a flying squirrel look.

First, I must say that I love the Cream of Chicken Cup of Soup.  However, this has perplexed me for some time and I finally decided to bring it to your attention. They named it CUP of Soup indicating that once I make the product according to the directions given, I should have a scalding cup of deliciousness to enjoy.  However, that is NOT the case!

Yup, that's Ken as a whoopie cushion.  Fitting isn't it!  Thanks to Party America coming up with Halloween costumes this year was super easy!  Plus, we have the honors of giving away $25 gift certificates if you can guess what we are!

Ken and I had the opportunity to go behind-the-scenes at the Kwik Trip Training Center in Superior.  We got the scoop on the extensive training that goes into a Kwik Trip employee before they hit the store.  No wonder it's a great experience whenever you visit one of their stores already open in the Northland!
