Five years ago, Ken and I took part in what we thought would be legitimate donkey races.  I LOVE donkeys, I even have them as my screen saver on my laptop so of course, I was thrilled and looking forward to the evening.  The picture above is us in our rider's vests that coincided with the color of the blanket on our donkey.  BUT, no one told us they were TRICK donkeys and that made for a few trips

Lately the only fishing I've done is with Ken Hayes, my co-host.  But, we've both been so busy we haven't found time to even go for the afternoon.  However, I found that he isn't my lucky charm.  I got to go out a few times while on vacation the beginning of the month and I caught my first fish in a VERY long time.  It does come with a big fish tale of humor though!

We were SUPPOSED to go to Yellowstone.  We had been planning this vacation since the gas prices had dropped.  We nervously watched the gas prices rising but after months of planning nothing was going to stop us now, except a broken camper axle.  That prompted us to choose a much closer camping location that bears a bit of explaining.

I have a stress fracture in my heel bone. (the full story) It was caused by the increase in mileage while I was training for Grandma's Half Marathon.  All it did was make it so I couldn't actual run the marathon!  It didn't slow me down though, here's just a short list of things I can still do while wearing a boot...

I have had short hair for almost 20 years now.  I just can't get past that "point" to grow it long again and with my job, short hair is best.  But, how does one determine if it's THE hair style for you and your face structure?  They now have the 2.25 inch rule to determine that fact.  Have you ever wondered?

I'm not kidding!  She was over for Mother's Day and started to tell us of a crazy robin that is stalking her.  I immediately thought about when birds eat berries and get drunk, but we're too early in the season for that.  Wait till you read this, THEN, tell me what you make of it!

Saturday night I sent a text to Cathy asking about Harold's Flippin' Flapjack Fiasco.  We were going to go, and I wanted to see what time it started.  Turns out Cathy was at the VFW and unwinding after an already long weekend with a couple of Bacardis.   They must have been strong, because utter nonsense followed.

I noticed Cathy started off the morning eating a banana.  I was shocked when over an hour later she was still eating the same banana.  Most people eat a banana in just a few bites, right?

If you've been listening to the Breakfast Club lately, you've probably heard Cathy's ongoing struggle with her vision.  She's tried monovision (which I still don't understand).  She's tried squinting, closing one eye, and everything else you can think of, but she's still having a problem trying to see her computer screen.   So I asked her to show us her new fashionable glasses.

I've never been a great bowler, but I'm usually not the worst in a group.  We went bowling as a staff yesterday and I ended up getting matched against Cathy Kates.  Surprisingly, she's a good bowler!

I always have to be doing something, never stop moving, multi-task and never relax.  I'd say I'm wound pretty tight.  That's why when I found this Figit.  Now I can keep my fingers busy and it's healthy!  What do you figit with?

Single. Time.  Secondly, she usually is posing in some strange way.
