With measurable snow being forecast throughout this weekend, it has a lot of us saying, really? Facebook updates like, "Don't put the snowblower away yet, or "more shoveling again.... argh!" aren't hard to find. The reality is, this is a typical Northland Winter. Another storm has come and gone with nothing but underwhelming results in the Twin Ports. Officially we got less than an inch of snow through the overnight, but lots of wind.

Expect flurries throughout the day, with totals equaling less than an inch. Heavy winds will continue with gusts up to 45 mph.

The heavy winds off the lake blew dry air into the oncoming storm which prevented the snow from forming.

The Twin Ports is under a winter advisory for most of today into Monday morning, nothing we can't handle. However if traveling to the Twin Cities or further south is in you plans in the next 24 hours, Twin Cities Meteorologist Paul Douglas says you may want to think twice. Delta has already canceled 700 flights. Can you believe another big storm this season is missing us to the south? So how bad will it be there?
