You better save some room!

Recently I was out with co-workers and Dani, our receptionist and the gal you see when you pick up prizes at B105, ordered a Moscow Mule.  I asked what the drink was made out of and why they serve it in a copper cup.  She was able to answer one of those questions, the other spurred a table conversation.

It was quite by accident that I invented a new drink that is refreshing and lo-cal. It only takes three ingredients and it doesn’t involve soda so there’s no fizz to fill you up.  It's the perfect summer drink!  Now I just have to come up with a name for it.

The new crazy trend is a $43 martini made with what they call genuine San Francisco fog.  I expected it to be just a bottle of air, but what really happens is that the vodka is harvested water from the fog in San Francisco.  That got me thinking of all the opportunities we have right here in our own backyard.

I'm not going to reveal the fast food restaurant we were at but maybe you can figure it out based on the same frustration we had while dining there.  It had to do with placement of the condiments in regards to the beverages.  Do they just plop the stuff on the counter and not "go with the flow" to see if it works well?

Oh boy does THIS sound yummy!  Just think, great taste and warms the insides after a long walk in the cool crisp air.  Or, coming in from raking leaves or actually hanging the holiday lights BEFORE the snow flies.  Pumpkin Pie Latte from Taste of Home will make your kitchen smell like you've been baking!

While dining at a local pub with incredible food and an array of craft beer  I noticed a line of brown bottles above the bar.  I found out they were called "growlers" and you could buy one, fill it with your favorite brew and enjoy the tasty treat AT HOME!  It's truly the best way to keep craft beer in your own fridge!
