Summer is officially here and the 4th Of July is coming up fast, so it's time to get your BBQ playlist together! If these 10 songs aren't playing across your yard, then it's time to add them.
I had a friend suggest that I try grilling a ham. I had never even thought of it, but it's a nice change of pace for your late summer grilling. In our house we grill several times a week, so by the time we get to August we are ready to change it up from burgers and brats. The grilled ham was easy and didn't take all day.
To be honest, I've actually been to the OMC Smokehouse at 1909 West Superior St.
Duluth twice. But I forgot to take pictures my first time so I made sure to do so this time. They serve smoked meats, craft beer and sides all done very uniquely. Here's my review.
My second Get Grillin’ Giveaway delivery was to Sherie and Greg in Duluth. It's was a beautiful day and when I arrived it was met with a surprise. They were so excited to win the huge prize pack they started a remodeling project.
I've seen some YouTube videos on how to set up your Weber grill as a smoker. There's a few different techniques, but it all is very similar. But there was questions that these videos didn't answer. Like how long? What temperature? How fast does it heat up? What are some of the challenges, etc. I learned a lot my first time, and it actually turned out fantastic.
I was excited when it was my turn to make the Get Grillin’ Giveaway delivery because the winner lived in Lake Nebagamon. Such a beautiful community that holds special memories for me. Years ago the B105 staff was involved in a musical called “You Had Me From Hello” with the Twin Ports Part Time Players. The performance was filled with country songs that told a love story of sorts. The B105 staff p
This is a little disturbing. You know that "Watch it again" reel on YouTube where it gives you a chance to watch the YouTube videos again that you've already seen? Today I noticed a bizarre video "Korean Girls Trying American Bbq" under watch it again. Which brings me to the question, which one of us looked for that in the first place. We all share the B105 account, and th
What an absolutely gorgeous Monday afternoon/evening! I'm glad daylight saving time happened this past weekend so we could experience more of the beautiful sunshine and warm temps! Great training weather for the Grandma's Marathon races coming up in June.
It was a beautiful September day for the Harold's Hog Roast Fiasco at the Carlton VFW. It's Harold's way of thanking everyone for attending the Harold's Flippin' Flapjack Breakfast and the ever popular Harold's Golf Fiasco. Let me take you back to that day!
Did you think I was going to let Ken Hayes have all the fun and eat all the brisket for lunch at Dickey's? He was there yesterday with Easton Corbin tickets. Proving B105 is your County Concert Connection, today you can win Little Big Town Suite Seats!
We've been talking about the health benefits of olive oil and the reason why Rustic Olive's olive oil stands out above the rest with flavor and freshness. But, they also offer another flavor sensation, Balsamic Vinegars. Andy from the Rustic Olive shared a recipe using Smoked Traditional Balsamic Vinegar that will have your family asking for more!
It's the ultimate day to be an American, and it only happens once a year. You better get it right. Here's the things you absolutely need. If you don't have it, man badge revoked.
1. Brats or some other red meat - Not chicken, not hot dogs, and for God's sake no veggie burgers! July 4th everyone eats red meat. Vegetarians don't get to celebrate. Case closed.
