Georgetown Hoyas, Chinese Professional Team Game Ends In Brawl

Obviously both teams wish this never happened, but anyone who has played sports knows physical games like this seemed to be can turn ugly in a hurry.  It's tough to tell from this video who threw the first punch.

Georgetown's tour through China turned ugly Thursday when a game between the Hoyas and the Bayi Rockets, a Chinese professional team, ended in a bench-clearing brawl.

Mex Carey, Georgetown's sports information director, told ESPN.com that the game was "very physical," with 57 free throws taken by Bayi to just 15 for Georgetown, and quickly spun out of control.

Retiring Shaquille O’Neal’s Dunk Shot Damage

Shaquille O'Neal TWEETED his retirement this week.  TWEETED!  Can you believe that?  He's a fantastic basketball athlete, with his career starting way back in 1992 with the Orlando Magic.  He has too many accolades to his name to mention and instead of a press conference, or official announcement....he tweeted it.  I guess it's a sign of the times.

He's powerful on the court and famous for his dunk shots, this one in particular because he does some damage!

Prof Honored Before Basketball Game, Then Ejected from Arena [VIDEO]

Robert Kasmir, an accounting professor at George Washington University, was honored over the weekend before a GW men's basketball game for financial contributions he had made to the university's athletic department.

After the ceremony he took a seat in the front row to watch the game, and ended up getting himself ejected in the second half for heckling the referee.

As you can see for the video, Kasmir got a much bigger kick (and a much bigger ovation) out of the ejection than he did the ceremony.
