Arnold Schwarzenegger Fathered Child With Household Staffer

According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a child over 10 years ago with a longtime member of his household staff.

Schwarzenegger told wife Maria Shriver about the child earlier this year, after which she moved out of their Brentwood mansion.

"After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago," Schwarzenegger said in a statement. "I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry."

Arnold Schwarzenegger Offered Role in Action Movie

Get your "I'll be back" jokes ready, because Arnold Schwarzenegger is reportedly eyeing a major return to the big screen.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Governator is in talks to join 'The Last Stand,' in which he would play a bordertown sheriff who teams with his inexperienced staff to hunt down a Mexico-bound cartel leader.

The film is being directed by Jee-woon Kim ('The Good, The Bad, The Weird'), and is tentatively set to begin shooting in late August. Sources tell the Hollywood Reporter that negotiations are moving along, though the deal could still fall apart over money.

According to The Hollywood Reporter former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will return to acting, not on the big screen, but the small.

Apparently Arnold will star in a "International TV Series", details of which are being kept secret until a scheduled press conference in Cannes, France on April 4th.  We have some ideas though, check out our guesses after the break.
