Animal Allies

Meet Bing and Muzzy, they are besties at Animal Allies and would like to find their forever home together.  The cool thing about these two rascals is that their adoption fee has been sponsored!  They will keep each other company and you'll get to enjoy the company of two wonderful pets in your home.

Our Animal Allies Pet of the Week is a Miniature Pinscher or Min-Pin.  He is considered a Senior (I feel your pain, Earl Yippington) at 11 years old.  He came to Animal Allies as a stray and now wants you as a roommate. Animal Allies has taken care of micro-chipping, vaccinating and Earl Yippington is neutered.  He's ready to be loved, fed and snuggled.

Meet Panther, he is Animal Allies Pet of the Week.  He is considered a Senior (I feel your pain, Panther) at 19 years old.  He is a black domestic short haired cat and hoping you have a big heart and a forever home.  Animal Allies has taken care of micro-chipping, vaccinating and Panther is neutered.  He's ready to be loved, fed and snuggled.

Meet Crosby and Jake, (pictured below) they are besties and would like to find their forever home together.  Crosby is a Shih Tzu/Maltese mix who is 3 years old and Jake is a white and gray Shih Tzu/Maltese mix who is 4 years old.  They will keep each other company and you'll get to enjoy the company of two wonderful pets in your home with a buddy discount from Animal Allies.

The end of the school year is near and if you're like me when my daughter was young, you're too busy to research and find exciting constructive things for your kids to do to fill their time this summer.  Since my daughter Kylee is graduating from UMD in May, I have time to do the research and help you out.

Every Wednesday we take a few minutes to chat with Daryl from Animal Allies.  Today he introduced us to Cybil.  He described her as an 8 year old Norwegian Forest Cat.  Maybe I'm the only one, but I had to have him repeat that.  I've never heard of one before, and it turns out they have a cool history.

Daryl talked about a cat this morning. Animal Allies PR guy brought up the fact that Queenie, aptly named, will probably take over your household. She is a loyal cat, as he points out, but likes to rule the roost.

Border collies are very smart dogs, and this is definitely true about Carbon.  We had a chance to talk with Jenny from Animal Allies and she describes this 2 1/2 year old dog as a wonderful pet looking for a good home.

Every Wednesday we chat with Animal Allies about what's going on at the shelter.  They recently celebrated 5 years in their new building and location.  Today they also introduced us to Dream, who is a great senior cat looking for a nice home.
