Animal Allies

We talked with Stephanie from Animal Allies today about some upcoming fundraising events, and also we talked a little about Xippy!

We talked with Jenny from Animal Allies again today and they have a promotion for membership going on!   Becoming a member of Animal Allies helps both the shelter and you!  Also, we met Antonio, a beatufiul German shepherd mix.

Most people that are looking to add a pet to their family usually think of puppies and kittens.  With that comes a lot of learning, and a lot of patience.   A lot of times it may be appropriate to adopt a senior pet.  They've learned the ropes, they've calmed down, and they are looking for a loving home for their golden years.

Once again we chatted with Jenny from Animal Allies about what's going on at the shelter.   This Friday, they'll be open at noon with some special Black Friday deals on adoptions and pet supplies!  Make sure to stop by with the family!   Also she shared the pet of the week Gauge.

Every Wednesday we take some time to talk to Animal Allies about their upcoming fundraisers and their featured pets.   Today we talked a bit about "The Furball" coming up Oct. 19th.  Raffle tickets are available at their website.  Also, we met Chaos.

We talked with Animal Allies today and learned that during the adoption event this last weekend, they found homes for 66 pets!  That's great!   Also remember to purchase a raffle ticket at their website for the upcoming Furball. And of course, we met a featured pet this week:  Iggy!

Gallery Dental had a one day rummage sale on July 29th selling everything from stuffed animal toys, housewares, clothes, shoes and even a wedding dress, all for the benefit Animal Allies.

We talked to Jenny today on the Breakfast Club and were introduced to Jada.  Jada is one of the many cats 6 months or older that are a part of the name your own fee program going on right now at Animal Allies.  Here's more about Jada:

Animal Allies has a lot of cats in the shelter this time of year.   Because of that, Animal Allies has the "name your own adoption fee" promotion.   Donate what you can and take home a friendly cat!   Here's the featured animal this week, Bootsie!

Every now and again pets come into the shelter that have been together for their whole life.   That's the case with Sunflower and Violet, who are a pair of bonded cats at Animal Allies.   They are hoping to find a good home for these senior cats and keep them together.

Cinnamon Roll is a lot sweeter than she looks.  She's the featured cat this week for Animal Allies.   Right now, you can name your own fee if you adopt Cinnamon Roll or any other cat over 6 months old, so visit Animal Allies to find your match!
