Meet Animal Allies Pet Of The Week “Cricket”
Nope, it's not a pet cricket, but rather a loveable adult lab looking for a good home. Cricket was found as a stray in Superior, and is currently at the Superior Animal Allies shelter.

It's not too often we have a kitten featured as the Animal Allies "Pet of the Week." Merlin is just over a month old and doesn't even weigh 2 pounds yet, but his personality is already starting to show. Also, besides Merlin, there is a Mother's Day promotion going on where adult cats are only $5 to adopt!
Every Wednesday we talk to Animal Allies about what is going on at the shelter. This week Megan talked about the annual raffle that they do, and also the featured pet of the week Norman.
It's not hard to figure out why she's called "Pink Panther." Pink was found as a stray hiding in a garage. The residents brought the cat to Animal Allies in Superior, and no one know how she got to be pink. However, just like her color, she's a bright and fun loving cat looking for a good home.
Zeus is a pit bull terrier we were introduced to this morning with Animal Allies. Zeus is a silly, fun 3 year old dog that is looking for a home. He is available to adopt at the Superior Animal Allies, located at 2225 Hill Avenue.
Are you looking for a calm, friendly, senior dog as a companion? The Superior Animal Allies would like you to meet Patrick. You can't really tell from the picture, but Patrick is a Basset Hound/German Shepherd mix. He's short and long and pretty cute too.
Animal Allies is starting a new program called Spring Break Camp. It will run during student's spring bring April 8-12. Kids ages 8-12 can learn about how to care for animals, and do some volunteer work for the shelter.
Maxxis is a very loveable cat and one of the shelter's favorites. However, Maxxis has Feline Immunodeficiency Syndrome (FIV) and is looking for someone to love him and take him home. His condition only requires that he stays completely indoors and doesn't live with any other cats that are FIV negative. Otherwise there is nothing else he needs besides a good home!
Today we talked with Betsy from Animal Allies and she shared some exciting fundraising events that are coming up along with the pet of the week Savannah. Betsy described her as a very loving and cuddling cat that also enjoys a little bit of alone time.
I always think it's funny when people name pets traditional people names. Steven is one of the longest residents at the shelter, and he's really looking for a nice home where he can be the only pet. He doesn't need a lot of attention and likes his independence.
Quick! Somebody call the doctor! Anna featured this loveable cat this morning as the featured pet for Animal Allies. You can take this guy home and get him at a reduced price.
Actually, this dog goes by two names: Scrappy or Happy. They sometimes can't help but call her happy because she is so eager to jump up into your lap. She's a pitbull/terrier mix, but a much shorter pitbull than you'd expect.
