38 Special

The first ever Summer Heat concert lived up to its name, with temperatures soaring into the upper 80's on a late June afternoon in the Twin Ports. Hundreds of people poured into the back lot at Clyde Ironworks to check out the fantastic show, with opening acts Tempted Fate and Boogie Wonderland kicking off the party for headliners 38 Special.

We'll be "Rockin' into The Night" at the Clyde tonight when 38 Special and special guests Boogie Wonderland and Tempted Fate take the stage for the first ever Summer Heat concert brought to you by Benna Ford Roush.

I was lucky enough to get tickets to see 38 Special in Swea City Iowa several years ago when I was still working for KFMC in Fairmont MN.   The only song I knew off the top of my head was "Hold On Loosely," but I went anwyay.  Boy am I glad I did.
