Why wait until Halloween to get in the spirit of things?  The City Of Superior will hold it's annual Halloween Spooktacular this Saturday, October 15, and there's plenty to do for everyone.

From a costumed 5K race to a parade, everyone is invited to have fun during this community event.  Here is a snapshot of all the activities:

  • The Spooktacular 5-K Fun Run starts at 8:30 a.m. Make sure to dress in costume and enjoy a haunted trail, spooky bus, and prizes.  Click here to register. 
  • The parade begins at 10:00 a.m.  Line up starts on Broadway Street and the parade ends at 14th Street and Banks Avenue. Kids can collect candy and other hand-outs from parade participants and there will be prizes following the parade. The registration fee is $20 and you can click here to join the parade.
  • The Pumpkin Patch takes place from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  There will be games, live music, bounce houses, vendors and free pumpkins for the first 200 people.
  • Snacks and a Movie at the Superior Public Library are another option.  The movie starts at noon.
  • Spooktacular Skating at World Of Wheels Skate Center starts at 2:00 p.m. Dress in a costume and you'll save $2.00 on admission.
