Superior Policed Called After Clown Sighting Reported

Isn't it rich?  Aren't we a pair?  Me here at last on the ground, you in mid-air.  Where are the clowns?  Well, this week it appears there was one in Superior and police were called to investigate.

The DNT is reporting on a clown sighting earlier this week in Superior.  In the story they say that a "clerk at the Krist gas station at 2821 E. Second St. reported seeing a person in a clown outfit across East Second Street".

After responding to the call, police also heard reports of a clown being seen running though the parking lot of the East End Superior One and in the 2200 block of East Third Street.

While there were reports of striped pants, the clown must not have been wearing his oversized shoes as neither police nor a group of young people who were chasing the clown were able to catch him.  I also don't believe he left a trail of balloon animals or water squirting flowers.
