Superior Landfill Free Days Coming Soon to Superior Residents
Superior residents will be able to dispose of unwanted items for free at the Superior Landfill on October 29th and November 5th from 8:00-2:30. It's a nice chance to the house and garage cleaned up before the snow flies, but there is a list of things that won't be accepted.
The following items are not accepted at the landfill and you'll have to find another place to dispose of them:
- Hazardous waste
- Demolition or construction waste
- Recyclables
- Electronics
- Appliances
- Batteries
- Fluorescent bulbs
- Used motor oil
You must tie and bag the garbage that you bring, and all trailers brought to the dump must be covered to prevent littering.
Mattresses will be accepted, but normal charges still apply. $3 for dry & clean mattress, $13 for wet and dirty mattresses.
