The tax deadline is creeping up on us, just under two weeks away.  For those that use to pick your tax forms up at the libraries, you only have today and tomorrow.  Then, they will no longer be available at libraries. This is why.

Technology may be to blame.  On March 21, the Minnesota Legislature passed a bill  that makes many state tax forms and instructions obsolete. The Minnesota Department of Revenue has instructed libraries to remove most state forms and instruction booklets.

There will be a couple State tax forms still available at the library.

2013 M1 Minnesota income tax return (form only - no instructions)

2013 M1W Minnesota income tax withheld (includes M1WPG2)

Any other forms that you may need can be printed from the Minnesota Revenue website or by calling 800.657.3676 and ask for them to be mailed.
