Music has always been a part of Lee Greenwood’s life, even while growing up on a farm near Sacramento, California.  He has an expansive list of 22 studio albums, and seven compilation albums and will release his first-ever live album later this year.  YOU can be part of that album!

He’s inviting his fans to help out with the album by choosing the songs and to submit photos you have taken with him and of him through the years  for the album cover artwork.

“This is 100% about the fans,” Greenwood says. “We will let the fans choose the songs that will be included on the recording and we will let the fans submit their very own concert photos to be included in the cover artwork. This is completely for them all the way!”

You can send song suggestions and pictures to liverecording@leegreenwood.com.   Not many artists allow the fans to be in complete control of a project, but Lee Greenwood wants to show his gratitude and appreciation for the love, respect and dedication he's received from his fans during the course of his career.  The album, ‘Greatest Hits: Live’ will be recorded July 3-6, during his busy summer touring schedule, so hurry and get your submissions in.

For inspiration, here is Lee singing "God Bless the USA" live at the Grand Ole Opry in 1985.

If you and your family are planning a trip to Nashville, be sure to stop by the Country Music Hall of Fame, where Greenwood’s spotlight exhibit ‘Lee Greenwood: American Patriot’ will remain on display until the Spring 2014.
