Seth MacFarlane Takes On History with ‘A Million Ways To Die In The West’ [VIDEO]

Seth MacFarlane, of ‘Family Guy’ and ‘Ted’ fame, has a new movie coming out and it’s his take on the Old West.

I read an interview with him about this movie and he said he always thought that living in those days would probably be one of the most dangerous times ever.  There were diseases, gun fights, and hard living in general.  He thought “What if someone alive back then realized what a dangerous time it was as they were living through it?”.

That is the basis for ‘A Million Ways To Die In West’ and while he refrained from any current pop culture references, because this is the Old West after all, there is plenty of potty humor for everyone.
