Despite her best effort, Mother Nature couldn't keep the Navy's Blue Angels and the 2014 Duluth Airshow grounded all weekend.

Clouds, fog and low visibility/ceiling were the buzzwords flying around the 2014 Duluth Air Show, those three things kept the planes on the ground Saturday, and kept the flying to a minimum on Sunday.

But after patiently waiting through multiple delays the crowd full of spectators, some returning with their Saturday tickets, were treated to some cool aerial acrobatics and a full throttle Blue Angels performance to wrap up the weekend.

Also performing were Mike Goulian in the Red Bull plane, the Jack Link's Screamin' Sasquatch jet assisted bi-plane and a brief flying demo from an USAF's F-22 Raptor.
