I was shocked to receive word of the critical need for volunteers at Empty Bowl because I have usually had to fight (in a good way) my way onto the line to serve soup.  However, the volunteers they are looking for are needed before the date of the event, can you or someone you know help?

The help they need is with set-up and loading and unloading for the tables and chairs at a couple of different locations.

Please Note:  You will need your own transportation to and from the volunteer sites.

Here's what they need to get the task accomplished:

Of course individuals are more than welcome to help, however, this is a great opportunity for groups to serve in a fun, energetic activity.  You should know that it is lifting and moving boxes, tables and chairs so it's a physical volunteer job and would require those that help to stand, bend, lift heavy objects and carry items both an indoor and outdoor.  If you and/or your organization fits the bill, here's the dates your services are needed.
