Attending the Empty Bowl Event to fund the Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank is something I look forward to every year!  I could spend hours in the basement of The Depot, near the trains, looking at the amazing bowls that our local artist have hand-crafted.  But, you don't have to wait until the 23rd Empty Bowl event on Tuesday, April 12, you can bid on line right now.

Professional artists hand craft special works of art for the on-line auction.  As you look at the items up for bid you can learn more about the incredible artists who give so generously of their time and talent.  The auction will end on April 13 at 3pm so get your bids in and watch it like a hawk!

This is a video I took last year that will give you a sneak peek of what goes on in the basement of the Depot on the day of the event. (different every year, of course)

Besides getting a treasured, hand-crafted masterpiece, you will also be showing your support for a great cause. Proceeds benefit Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank and its hunger relief efforts throughout NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin. Bid and be generous :)

I hope to see you at the 23rd Annual Empty Bowl at The Depot, 506 West Michigan Street in Duluth on Tuesday, April 12, 10 am–6:30 pm.  The soup is donated by several of our area restaurants.  The variety is huge, with meat, vegetarian, gluten-free and all taste absolutely delicious.  It's a great day to try something new and gain another fave!

Empty Bowl benefits Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank, providing food for more than 4.2 million meals annually to people in need throughout northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin.  Thank you for your compassion and donations.
