Saturday Morning Rain Causes Instant Flooding In Downtown Duluth [PHOTOS]
My husband was running on Park Point Saturday morning with an eye to the sky when he felt the first rain drop….after racing to his car in a torrential downpour, he drove through downtown Duluth and couldn’t believe the amount of rain that had fallen in such a short time.
This poor guy was in the process of loading or unloading his trailer when the storm hit.

Homie (my husband) says that often times, the force of the water through the storm sewer system is SO great, it will literally blow the manhole cover off, that’s what happened here, on Superior Street and 3rd Avenue East.
Ken Hayes blogged about The 5 Worst Storms in Recent Northland History, check it out! Glad he couldn’t add THIS one to his list!
