Recently, the Judy Garland museum offered a million dollars with no questions asked to return the infamous Ruby slippers back to their home. The deadline came and went and nothing happened.

I wanted to find out a little about the slippers and what they are really worth, and once I found out the real story I think I know why they never came back. They are really the most sought after things in Hollywood, and have a story that couldn't be written better than the one that is real.

The shoes were originally sold for 15 grand, but then another pair popped up, then another pair. Which ones were real? None of them and all of them. I know that doesn't make sense, but one man not only controlled how much each pair sold was sold for, but controlled how many pairs the public knew about.

Something else I learned is that Debbie Reynolds has quite a collection of Hollywood's famous costumes and footwear and loves to share them.

Here's the video.
