Road Construction Projects Will Impact Travel In Downtown Duluth

The City of Duluth will be working on two separate roads downtown next week that will alter travel for some. Here are the full details so you can plan ahead accordingly.

East 4th Street

They will begin patching the area between 12 and 13th Avenue East on Monday, March 28. The plan is to work on one block at a time repairing the significant potholes. You'll see the area marked as no parking and no through traffic allowed. They hope to work eastward every day next week to complete the project, depending on the weather. This is the same street that will be totally reconstructed this summer.

4th Ave West:
Charter Communications cable lines will be connected to the new maurices building on 4th Ave West between Superior St and the 1st St alley in two phases. This will require the closure of the northbound lane on Tuesday March 29th starting at 9:00 AM for the rest of the day. Then, Wednesday March 30th, the southbound lane will be closed after 9:00 am for the rest of the day.
