Researchers Claim To Have Found What Causes Male Pattern Baldness

Researchers believe they have found what causes baldness, and they even believe they can develop a drug to cure it.

Exciting stuff, right?  The findings appear in Science Translation Medicine.  There is an abundance of "out of wack" proteins found on men's scalp that are balding.  The trick is, to develop a drug that will block those proteins and get to the root of the problem.  They also point out that all treatments currently for male pattern baldness were discovered by accident, and not solely designed to cure baldness.

The drug in Rogaine was originally designed to lower blood pressure.  Propecia was developed to help shrink prostates.  Now there's hope for future generations, and maybe even you in the next few years.
