Remember the Arrowhead Bridge Between Duluth & Superior? Here’s A Trip Across from 1984 [VIDEO]

Cathy and I were talking today the bridges between Duluth and Superior and she brought up the Arrowhead Bridge.  I had heard of it, but I’m too young to remember so I went on the web to see if I could find some info. Not only did I find out some cool facts, but also found this video on YouTube!

The bridge was torn down in 1984 after being used for nearly 60 years.  The Bong Bridge was also originally named the “New Arrowhead Bridge,” before being changed to the Bong.  Now, all that is left of it has become the Arrowhead Fishing Pier in Superior.  Pretty cool trip down memory lane, and boy has West Duluth changed in the last 30 years!
